I decided to start writing a blog about life and things I find interesting, whether it be funny, shitty, awesome, or etc. You'll hear some stories about life and there will definitely be pictures and videos! I hope you enjoy!
Any comments/questions/concerns, just e-mail me: lifeandeverythinginteresting@gmail.com
Yeah, I really couldn't think of a good title for my blog today, so deal with the name! Today is just random things that I've seen this week that have made me laugh.
For those of you who don't know, I am a huge fan of iCarly, Victorious, and any other show that Dan Schneider has created. If you don't know who Dan Schneider is...GO SMACK YOUR HEAD AGAINST THE WALL 10 TIMES!!! Dan Schneider is the creator of all the most amazing shows that have ever been on Nickelodeon, such as All That, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, iCarly, and Victorious. He also made Goodburger and Big Fat Liar. He is hands down my favorite director/writer/producer guy ever. I will hopefully work for him someday soon!
Anyway, onto what I wanted to talk about. Recently one of my friends, Lyndsay (check out her blog) showed me these awesomely hilarious videos. The videos are of Spencer from iCarly being woken up by Freddie and Sam at random hours of the night. Spencer is played by Jerry Trainor who is hilariously funny actor! These videos are just complete nonsense and I love it. Basically Spencer is half asleep and Freddie and Sam say weird things to make him do and say funny/weird things. Here is one of the videos of Wake Up Spencer (if you would like to watch more, click the link under the title!):
So today, I stumbled across an advertisement for the new Need For Speed game. In it Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon, aka Drama and Turtle from the awesome show Entourage, play valets who have a "need for speed"...GET IT?!?! It's a pun! All joking aside, I think it's amazing that they have the two of them together on this. The two are hilarious, and even just seeing them in the valet outfits make me laugh. Then I found out that they actually have a couple of commercials that include them, which are also really funny.
For those of you who don't watch Entourage, you should check it out. It is a really good show, though it has gotten somewhat worse in the past two seasons. The next season is the final season, so I have faith that it will be good. I've also heard rumors of them making a feature film after the final season. Anyway, I think you should check out the video:
DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL PORNOS
This is definitely Mickey Mouse!
Alright, so Thursday I was sitting in class and I was getting really bored, so I decided, what could be funnier than making a list of Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMs), but with their names if they were pornos, aka Disney Channel Original Pornos (DCOPs). Yes, I know it seems really weird, but if you know me, you should realize by now that I am a very weird person! So here is my list:
Real Name/Porno Name
1) Luck of the Irish/Cock of The Irish
2) Phantom of the Megaplex/Phantom of the Megasex
3) Johnny Kapahala/Johnny Cumalota
4) Brink!/Pink!
5) Don't Look Under the Bed/Don't Fuck Under the Bed
6) Camp Rock/Camp Cock
7) Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam/Camp Cock 2: The Anal Jam
8) Pixel Perfect/Tit-so Perfect
9) Read It and Weep/Need It and Deep
10) A Ring of Endless Light/A Bang of Endless Night
11) Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century/Cream-on: Girl of the 21st Sextury
12) Full Court Miracle/Full Squirt Miracle
If you think of any other good titles for DCOPs, please feel free to e-mail them to me at lifeandeverythinginteresting@gmail.com. I will put them on here and give you credit.
Sorry today's blog post wasn't as long as most of my blog posts, I do hope you enjoyed it though! I leave you with this funny picture:
If you like what you read today, come back and read again...and if you didn't "GO F*** YOURSELF!" Only joking, come back tomorrow and see if you like that. These are the things that I live, see, and hear everyday, they interest me and I hope they interest you. Thanks for checking out my blog!
Yes, you guessed it, today's blog is all about the 80s! That awesome decade that we all love. So put on your members only jackets, lace up your converse (chucks), and put on those leg warmers, cause we're hopping into the Delorean, revving it up to 88 MPH, and going back to the 80s!!!
Glory Daze Cast (L to R): Drew Seeley, Matt Bush, Kelly Blatz, Hartley Sawyer
Glory Daze is a new show coming to TBS about a college student and his friends, and yep you guessed it, it takes place in the 80s! Joel (Kelly Blatz, who is known for his role as Aaron Stone on Disney XD) is a college freshman who wants to focus on his pre-med studies, but he'll soon learn that college life makes that harder than he imagined. Joel meets 3 great guys (including Drew Seeley, the actual voice of Troy Bolton in HSM and Joey Parker in Another Cinderella Story) and the 4 decide to pledge a frat. The show looks pretty funny, sort of like Greek, but in the 80s and not on ABC Family. And for you SNL fans out there, Tim Meadows (The Ladies Man and Mr. Duvall in Mean Girls) is playing their professor, which gives you yet another reason to watch it. The show seems like it could be a hit or miss, but I hope its a hit because both Kelly Blatz and Drew Seeley are great! I know I'm going to tune into TBS on November 16th at 10 PM...are you? Here is a promo for the show to get you interested:
Jump back! A Footloose remake?!?! Yep, it's set to come out this April. And this is not just a remake, it's a musical now!!! Sort of like what was done with Hairspray or Producers (non-musical movie to broadway show to musical movie), is being done to Footloose. For those of you who don't know what Footloose is about (I don't know why you wouldn't), it's about a teen from Chicago, Ren McCormick, who moves to the small town of Bomont where dancing is outlawed, finding this out, him and the other teens of the town, take on the Reverend and the town council, turning the town upside down.
Originally Zac Efron (High School Musical) was set to play Kevin Bacon's part of Ren McCormick, but he decided that he didn't want to be classified as "the musical guy". Then it was Chase Crawford (Gossip Girl) who was going to play Ren, but he decided not to. Ren is now being played by Kenny Wormald from Center Stage: Turn It Up and Ariel is being played by Julianne Hough from Dancing With The Stars, so we know that it will be an awesome dancing movie, I'm just not so sure how good the singing will be. Hopefully they have good voices, so they don't ruin it. Oh, and Dennis Quaid is playing Reverend Shaw. I have never heard him sing, so we will see how that turns out as well.
This summer, I had the pleasure of being in Footloose at Cultural Arts Playhouse in Plainview. The show was amazing and so was the cast! I love them and miss them sooo much! I know all of us will be heading to the theater in April to see this movie. Here's a video of us performing Footloose this summer:
I can not believe that after 22 years, they're going to make a sequel of Who Framed Roger Rabbit! The original movie was about the famous toon, Roger Rabbit, who suspects his girlfriend, Jessica Rabbit (hands down hottest cartoon ever!), of playing pattycake with someone else and hires toon-hating Detective Eddie Valient to find out the real story. When Marvin Acme is found mudered and Roger is a prime suspect, the two must go on a crazy adventure to prove Roger's innocence and find the real murderer.
The original movie mixed live actors and 2D cartoons, and thankfully Robert Zemekis (director and writer of the greatest movie ever, Back To The Future) has said that the sequel will involve live actors and 2D cartoons, instead of CGI cartoons. The original actor of Eddie Valient is now too old to still play the character, so they will probably bring in a new detective for this one. Also, thankfully the original screenwriters are writing this movie too.
Not much is known about the story of the sequel, but I know it will be fantastic. If I hear anything else about this, I'll be sure to tell you about it. Here is the trailer from the original movie, if you have never seen the movie, you really should check it out (btw, Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown from Back To The Future) was the original villian, which should make you want to watch the movie even more!):
And last, but definitely not least...
WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE IS EXPLICIT AND CONTAINS HALF-NUDE WOMEN
Kimberly Phillips & Jessica Danielle Hall as Marty McFly & Doc Brown
Who said it couldn't be done?! Putting the two best things in the world together: Back To The Future and naked women. In honor of Back To The Future's 25th Anniversary, Playboy decided to do a photo shoot dressing up two hot girls as slutty versions of the film's main characters, Marty and Doc. I think that whatever genius thought this up deserves a round of applause! This is the most amazing tribute to Back To The Future that I've ever seen. A half-nude girl laying across the Delorean is mine and any BTTF fans dream girl. You can also get the pictures as the wallpaper of your computer (I totally didn't do that). On the site there is even a video, which is hilarious/awesome/nude. I will not post it on here because as Miranda Sings would say, "That is porn!". But if you would like to see it, you can click the link under the title and check it out! The video below is completely censored, so don't worry. If you are a Back To The Future fan or just a fan of half-nude girls, you will enjoy it:
So I guess it's time to hop back into the Delorean and take you all back to the future. I hope you enjoyed my 80s edition of my blog!
If you like what you read today, come back and read again...and if you didn't "GO F*** YOURSELF!" Only joking, come back tomorrow and see if you like that. These are the things that I live, see, and hear everyday, they interest me and I hope they interest you. Thanks for checking out my blog!
Hello Bloggerverse (still not sure if that's a word?)!!!
For those of you who are wondering what the hell the title of today's blog is, it is the name of Andrew Lawrence's (one of the famous Lawrence brothers) clone in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "The Other Me". Since this is my second blog post, I figured I'd give it this name. (Actual Pronunciation: Two-ee)
The Other Me Poster
MOVIE VERSION OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S THE TEMPEST TO BE RELEASED IN DECEMBER WITH A ROCKSTAR CAST
A couple of weeks ago, I was watching Get Him To The Greek (a great movie, if you have not seen it, GO GET IT) and I was wondering what other films Russell Brand would soon be in, because he is hilarious and I love him. I went on IMDB and found out that he was going to be in The Tempest, a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's play. I had forgotten about this for a little while, until today.
In my Theatre Into Film class (one of my favorite classes at Emerson), someone brought up the movie, so we decided to watch the trailer, and all I can say is WOW!!! The movie looks amazing! I have never read or scene the play, but the movie looks really good! Julie Taymor (who directed Across The Universe and Frida) directed and wrote the screenplay for The Tempest. Taymor makes the movie her own, by changing the main character Prospero, a man, into Prospera, a woman, who will be played by the amazing Helen Mirren. Other well known actors in the movie include Alfred Molina (Spiderman 2), Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Chris Cooper (American Beauty), Alan Cumming (if you don't know who he is, then you must be crazy!), and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond). The special FX in this movie look more incredible then Shakespeare could have ever imagined!
I know what some of you may be thinking, "Oh Shakespeare is so boring and is just a bunch of 'doths' and 'thous'", and if I were "Freshmen Year of High School Phil", I would agree with you. I used to think Shakespeare was boring and was just something that teachers made us read in school to torture us, but my theatre teacher from high school, Connor (check out his blog, it is awesome and he's doing it for a great cause!), changed my mind. After being in 3 Shakespeare plays in high school and reading Shakespeare for 12 hours every year to fundraise for our drama club, A.C.T., I have really learned to admire Shakespeare for the genius that he is! I have a feeling that if you have any doubts about Shakespeare, this movie might change your idea on how awesome he is. The movie trailer for "The Tempest" is below:
Neil Patrick Harris (plays Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother)
For as long as I can remember, all of my friends said "Phil, you need to watch How I Met Your Mother! It's amazing and hilarious! You'll love it!" Well, a couple of weeks ago, I decided that I would watch How I Met Your Mother (also known as HIMYM). Immediately, I was hooked on the show! It is f***ing hysterical! I ended up watching all 5 seasons, and the first couple episodes that I missed from the 6th season, in a matter of 3 weeks (that's about 40 episodes a week)! This was very difficult to do, in between all the studying and homework I was doing *wink* *wink*! Many of the characters are known faces, such as Alyson Hannigan (American Pie), Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), and of course Neil Patrick Harris (the one and only NPH). The show also has some amazing guest stars such as Wayne Brady and Carrie Underwood.
Anyway, Neil Patrick Harris' character, Barney Stinson, is the hilarious womanizer who is always wearing suits. He thinks he is totally awesome, and just has sex with woman for fun. He will always except a challenge, no matter how weird or stupid it may be. He is hands down my favorite character on the show. Barney even has a blog which is very funny as well.
Every guy knows about "The Bro Code" (the code that all "bros" live by), but Barney Stinson is the one who decided to publish it. "The Playbook", a book of every scam Barney has ever played/wants to play on a woman. And "Bro On The Go" in which the front cover says it all "New wisdom and select classics from The Bro Code for today's active bro!" All three of these books were delivered to me today and I can not wait to read them! When I finish each, you will definitely see some reviews on my blog.
If you have never seen How I Met Your Mother, go watch it now! Here's a hilarious clip to get you interested:
The face above is probably a familiar face to many of you. She is Aubrey Plaza, most known for Daisy in Funny People and Julie in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. In both movies, she is not the main character, but she has a nice-size role with some great one liners. This script, which has yet to be picked up by a producer, was read at the Austin Film Festival earlier this week, in hopes that with Plaza attached to the script, it will be picked up. The movie is set in 1993 and is about a college graduate who decides that she needs to be more sexually experienced. Yes, I know it seems just like a female Superbad, but I think this movie could be big for Plaza. Hopefully the movie gets picked up soon, with Aubrey, because she is such a hysterically/awkward actress. I'll update you on any more that I hear about this movie.
Last night, the wonderful Samantha Gottlieb (yes, the girl who was my Gabriella in High School Musical) IMed me telling me about something that I myself and probably every other college/high school student needs. It's called Self Control. Self Control is an application for Macs that will not allow you to go on any of those websites that can easily distract you, aka Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc.
You make a "blacklist" of all the websites that you shouldn't go on while you're supposed to be doing homework/studying/paying attention in class and you choose a predetermined amount of time that you can not access those websites. Even if you quit the application, you still can't access those websites, so make sure not to set the time for longer than it will take you to accomplish your tasks, cause then you're stuck going on dumb websites like http://www.smellypoop.com/...trust me, that website is funny for only about 5 minutes.
This App really is such a great idea for people, like myself, who get easily distracted and procrastinate a lot. If only they would make one of these for life! Oh yeah...it's called ritalin. Anyway, thank you so much Sami for introducing me and the rest of the world to Self Control, it really will help us all! Oh and if any of you wanted to hear Sami sing, here's a clip of her and her acapella group, Kol Sasson, which is a Jewish acapella group at the University of Maryland. Watch the video! Sami's pretty f***ing awesome! This song is called Avir Linshima (don't worry, they sing songs in English too):

Anyway, I realize that every day, I come across sooo many random things, such as videos, pictures, stuff people say, etc. and I've been putting them on facebook and twitter and why not have a blog where I can post these things and have more than 140 characters to talk about it!
So welcome to the world little baby blog :-D
I give some of the credit to me writing a blog to Samantha Russo (who is in my awesome Acapella group, Noteworthy) she has her own blog, Tales of a So-Called Bitch...I recently saw that she had one and I've been on the fence about making one, but I finally decided to just do it! So, thank you samantha!!! And I know if I ever said anything bad about you, you'd verbally beat the $#*! out of me! Love you!
Alright, now to get down to stuff that is interesting that I've seen today.
For those of you who don't know what In The Heights is, well you must live on another planet! In The Heights is the story of a bodega owner, Usnavi, and his life in Washington Heights. There is love, a winning lottery ticket ($96,000), and of course, SINGING!!! It's a mix of latino music, rapping, and broadway and it is a perfect blend! It won 4 Tony Awards in 2008, including Best Musical. The show is hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen! I loved it so much, I saw it twice and because of it's closing I might have to see it again! Lin-Manuel Miranda, who played Usnavi in the original cast, started writing In The Heights when he was 19 years old because he missed home while he was in college (story of my life!). He wrote everything from the lines to the music and it is amazing! What's even more amazing is that he is coming back to the cast to end the show. From December 25th to January 9th, Lin-Manuel Miranda will reprise his role as Usnavi on Broadway! If you have a chance to see this show before it closes, SEE IT! It is so good and you really will love it, I promise! Notable stars who have appeared in the show: Corbin Bleu of High School Musical fame as Usnavi and Jordin Sparks of American Idol fame as Nina. And for all you true theatre fans, Robin De Jusus from Camp played Usnavi's goofy cousin, Sonny. GO SEE THIS SHOW BEFORE IT CLOSES!!! Below: A video from In The Heights' Tony Awards Performance of In The Heights/96,000:
JEREMY PIVEN TO PLAY VILLAIN IN SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD Alexa Vega & Daryl Sabara (Original Spy Kids) to Make Appearance in the Movie Story from SlashFilm
Jeremy Piven to be villian, Timekeeper
Yep, you heard me right! Ari Gold is playing the Spy Kids newest villian. Basically, Jessica Alba is an ex-OSS agent and she has twin children who have to become the new Spy Kids. Joel McHale (from The Soup) is Jessica Alba's husband, so that should be hilarious! Jeremy Piven's character, Timekeeper threatens to take over the world, forcing Alba back into the OSS and she brings her children with her. When I first found out that Robert Rodriquez decided to make a 4th Spy Kids movie without it being based around the original Spy Kids, I was so mad! How can you do it without Juni and Carmen?!?! Luckily, the two original Spy Kids will make an appearance in the new movie to help out the new Spy Kids. They are very far from kids these days though! Alexa Vega just got married and Daryl Sabara was just a badass in Machete! Apparently Antonio Banderas and Danny Trejo will make appearances in the film as well, reprising their roles as Gregorio Cortez and Machete (his brother).

...and finally the biggest news I've seen/heard today!
The shit has hit the fan! Justin Bieber is coming out with his own biopic/documentary! Basically 8 mile but with Justin Bieber. I seriously find it amazing that Justin Bieber has barely even been in the public's eye for more than 2 years and he already has a biopic about his life! The kid is 16 years old! Like his ego wasn't already big enough! I honestly do not think that he needs a movie to document his super short career! I will not lie, Justin Bieber has some very catchy songs and is doing very well for himself, but he does not deserve his own biopic yet. The trailer was recently released and I saw it for the first time today which is why I'm writing about it. At the beginning in big letters it says things like "THEY SAID IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN" and "THEY SAID HE WOULD NEVER MAKE IT"....one question: Who the f*** are they?!?!?! I really don't know who cared that much about Justin Bieber's life to question him making it or not. And the sad fact is, that although I'm sitting here semi-bashing Justin Bieber and his biopic, I will probably 100% go see this movie! The kid is doing well for himself. He's only 16 and he is this big? I'm sitting in a college dorm room while he is making millions and he's 2 years younger than me! Some say he's gonna be done in a couple years after puberty hits, but who knows, look what happened to Michael Jackson (RIP). No, I am not comparing Justin Bieber to Michael Jackson, that would be blasphemy, but I am saying, you never know, in a couple of years he could really show us something. But that's all hypothetical and we don't know what will happen. But right now, if Michael Jackson is considered the King of Pop, I'd consider Justin Bieber as the Court Jester of Pop...but give him time...maybe he'll surprise us? Here is the long-awaited trailer for Justin Bieber's Biopic "Never Say Never" (watch it in HD, it makes it more enjoyable!):
So that's all for now! I think that this was a pretty successful first blog post!
