That's right! It has been a week since my first blog post! Not only am I happy that people are actually reading my blog and telling me how much they like it, I'm also just really happy that I stuck with it (unlike the trumpet, sorry mom!). Anyway, I have some interesting and awesome things to tell you, so listen up, cause I ain't gonna say it twice (I mean it's online, so you could obviously read it again and again, but I'm not gonna write it again, so pay attention...you know what, basically I'm just trying to say read what I have to say please...thank you!)!
SPIDER-MAN MUSICAL MOST LIKELY POST-PONED ONCE AGAIN
Story from Broadway World

Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Poster
In the past couple of weeks, two performers from the show injured themselves in the same catapult stunt. One of them broke both wrists, while the other broke both feet. In shows with flying and stunts such as Spider-man, it is illegal for the show to perform for the public until inspectors have inspected the stunts and have certified that they are safe. Although the show needed to do this anyway, the recent injuries have prompted public attention to these unsafe conditions. Therefore, once again the show will probably be pushed back and I'm thinking won't open until 2011.
I want to see this show, not because I think it will be good, I want to see it mainly because I want to see what a show that costs $60 million is actually like. Matt, a guy on my floor, told me that one of his professors figured that a show costing $60 million would have to run for approximately 8 years, with a full house every single night, just to make back the original $60 million. This is from adding up average ticket sales and such, so it is a rough estimate, but that's still f***ing crazy and probably won't happen. The music and lyrics are by Bono and The Edge and the director is Julie Taymor (who directed The Lion King) so it seems like the show should be really good, but I really don't know. Do you think you'll buy tickets to see Spider-man: Turn Off The Dark? Here's a video from Good Morning America of one of the songs from the show called "Boy Falls From The Sky":
GULLIVER'S TRAVELS MOVIE STARRING JACK BLACK

Gulliver's Travels Poster
Not only is Jack Black starring in this movie, but Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada), and Amanda Peet (A Lot Like Love) are also in it. Segel and Blunt play the mini-people, while Peet plays an actual sized person (no offense to little people). The movie just looks really funny and has some great lines in the trailer. It's a movie that parents will be able to take there kids to, but will probably enjoy as well.
The movie does some funny things with Gulliver being bigger than the island inhabitants, such as him playing foosball with actual people or playing Guitar Hero with an actual mini-band (both seen in the trailer). Hopefully all the funny parts aren't just in the trailer. The movie comes out December 22 2010. I'll be going to see it over winter break, will you? Below is the trailer for the movie:
iCARLY-VICTORIOUS CROSSOVER EPISODE

More about the Episode

iCarly-Victorious Crossover
Anyway, this post is about the crossover episode. First off, I was a little skeptical at first, because both Victoria Jusice and Leon Thomas (Tori Vega and Andre Harris on Victorious) have been in iCarly episodes and I thought that it really shouldn't make sense that the characters don't recognize each other, but Dan Schneider recently released a funny youtube video making fun of this fact and made me not really care anymore.
There isn't much known about the episode, other than that it was filmed a couple of weeks ago. Many of the actors and Dan Schneider were tweeting about it. All that's known really is that the episode is called iParty with Victorious. The show will be in iCarly's fourth season and will be this seasons second double episode/TV movie/special. From what I've read, Carly and Tori are dating the same guy at the same time, which makes them hate each other. Their friends help them realize that there real enemy is the guy who cheated on them.
And if all of this didn't make you interested, Kenan Thompson is going to guest star! This is the first time he's been on a Dan Schneider show since All That! And to make things even better, according to Victoria Justice, at the end of the episode, both casts will do a mash-up of both there theme songs, karaoke style! I seriously can not wait for this episode! When it comes out, you will definitely see a post all about it! Below is a first look at behind-the-scenes of the crossover episode:

Of course I had to pimp out my acapella group at least once (not true, I'll do it every time we have a show probably) on my blog! I am in Emerson's Premiere Acapella Group, Noteworthy. I don't want to toot my own horn, but we are pretty awesome. Tomorrow night, November 4, we will be performing in the Cabaret (basement of the Little Building at Emerson College) at 8 PM. We have some new songs, some old favorites, and I am totally copying everything our advertisement says. But seriously, Noteworthy is great and we have some awesome songs that we know you will all love. If you don't know what acapella music is, come and find out (it's singing without instruments, and making sounds of the instruments with your voice)! If you are in the Boston area, you should really come check us out. The show is free, so just come on by. Below is a video of Noteworthy from last year (if you enjoy it, check out more videos on our youtube page):

One of the guys in Noteworthy, Dane Shubert (awesome guy), recently made a music video for a song he wrote and asked me to put it on my blog. Actually, here's exactly what he said "you got a chill ass blog. blow me up huh? feature my vid? luv ya buddy, xoxo". So here's his video, as I promised him, cause that "xoxo" ain't no bullsh*t! Bromances are nothing to joke about! The song is called "I'm Not Big On Youtube", but ironically, Dane hopes this will help him become big on Youtube. I hope you all enjoy it.
Alright, so that's all for today! I know it may be a lot, but the past couple of days haven't been too long, so I feel this makes up for it! If you're in the Boston area, you really should come see Noteworthy's show tomorrow night at 8 PM (and if you're not in Boston, get here by 8 PM tomorrow night!). I hope you enjoyed today's post.
If you like what you read today, come back and read again...and if you didn't "GO F*** YOURSELF!" Only joking, come back tomorrow and see if you like that. These are the things that I live, see, and hear everyday, they interest me and I hope they interest you. Thanks for checking out my blog!
I find this interesting, so you should too :-D
